Data Deletion
Instructions for requesting deletion of your NeuroLux Cortex data.
NeuroLux Cortex allows users to request deletion of information associated with their use of the service, including information related to a connected Instagram account.
1. How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of your NeuroLux Cortex data, send an email to:

Please provide enough information for us to identify the Cortex data associated with your request.
Where applicable, include:
- Your Instagram username connected to NeuroLux Cortex.
- The email address or other account information you used when communicating with Cortex support, if applicable.
- A clear statement that you want your NeuroLux Cortex data deleted.
Do not send your Instagram password, Meta password, access token, or other account credentials by email.
3. Verification
Before deleting information, we may request reasonable information necessary to verify the request and determine which Cortex account or Instagram connection the request relates to.
This verification is intended to help prevent unauthorized deletion of another user's information.
4. Information Covered by a Request
Depending on your use of Cortex and the information that remains associated with your account, a deletion request may include:
- Cortex user and authentication-related records.
- Stored Instagram connection information.
- Instagram account identifiers, Page identifiers, usernames, and connection status information stored by Cortex.
- Authorization information stored for the connected Instagram integration.
- Uploaded media associated with your Cortex use.
- Stored prompts, captions, or publishing instructions.
- Scheduled publishing jobs.
- Publication history and related Cortex records.
5. What Happens After a Valid Request
After a valid deletion request has been identified and verified, we will delete or de-identify information associated with the request from Cortex systems where it is reasonably possible to do so.
Certain limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, technical integrity, or compliance with applicable obligations.
6. Disconnecting Instagram
You may also revoke NeuroLux Cortex access through the applicable Meta or Instagram settings.
Revoking access prevents Cortex from continuing to use the authorization for future Instagram functionality, but revoking the connection does not necessarily remove information that was already stored by Cortex.
To request removal of stored Cortex information, use the deletion procedure described on this page.
7. Content Already Published to Instagram
A Cortex data deletion request concerns information stored or processed by NeuroLux Cortex.
Content that has already been published to Instagram may continue to exist on Instagram after Cortex data is deleted. Such content must be managed or deleted through the applicable Instagram account or Meta services.
